The Cloudmakers series consists of four works that combine image transfers on zinc plates with ceramic frames. Mixing three AI-generated images with one photograph, the pieces resemble both archaic machines and futuristic devices, blurring the line between reality and speculation. 

The series extends Lee’s earlier video Cloudmakers, which explored narratives of weather control through fact and fiction. Here, the reflective metal plates and hand-made ceramic frames bring that theme into material form, combining digital processes with tactile, crafted presence.
